Currently, the openATTIC log files are located in /var/log, with the file names /var/log/openattic_rpcd and /var/log/openattic_systemd. This is somewhat unusual, as log files usually end with ".log". If an application creates more than one logfile, it might make sense to put them into a dedicated subdirectory, so /var/log does not cluttered too much, if log file rotation is enabled.
Also see the Debian Policy Manual about this: http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-files.html#s10.8
Therefore the openATTIC log files should be moved into a subdirectory /var/log/openattic and named as follows: /var/log/openattic/openattic_systemd.log and /var/log/openattic/openattic_rpcd.log
