The openATTIC installation should not require SELinux to be disabled completely

    Details

      Description

      Currently, the RHEL/CentOS installation instructions recommend to disable SELinux.

      Instead of disabling SELinux, the openATTIC installation should make the required adjustments so that SELinux can remain enabled, but without affecting the functionality of openATTIC.

      For example, one of the things that must be changed is to allow the Apache Web Server (or rather the mod_wsgi application server) to connect to the PostgreSQL database.

      This can be done by changing the following setting:

      $ sudo setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect_db on

      See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8056444/django-could-not-connect-to-server-permission-denied-is-the-server-running-on-h for more details on this.
